Το θέμα εφαρμογής και στην Ελλάδα, του «Διατροφικού Κώδικα» (Codex Alimentarius), που ήδη έχει θεσπιστεί δια Νόμου στις Η.Π.Α και έχει ξεσηκώσει θύελλα διαμαρτυριών, φέρνει στην πολιτική επικαιρότητα ο Τομεάρχης Εργασίας και Κοινωνικής Ασφάλισης της Ν.Δ, βουλευτής Αχαΐας Νίκος Ι. Νικολόπουλος με αφορμή τις πληροφορίες που είδαν το φως της δημοσιότητας ότι το Υπουργείο Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης κατέθεσε προς ψήφιση, σχέδιο νόμου, για καταχώρηση όλων των εμπόρων γεωργοκτηνοτροφικών προϊόντων, σε ηλεκτρονική βάση δεδομένων, με την ονομασία «Ενιαίο Μητρώο Εμπόρων Αγροτικών Προϊόντων». Σύμφωνα με τα όσα έχουν γίνει γνωστά μέχρι σήμερα, "με το Νόμο αυτό θα εφαρμοσθεί και στην Ελλάδα, ο «Διατροφικός Κώδικας» ο οποίος απαγορεύει τις μικροκαλλιέργειες με παραδοσιακούς τρόπους, όπως δηλαδή οι βιολογικές καλλιέργειες, αλλά και τη διακίνηση των προϊόντων τους" αναφέρεται σε ανακοίνωση του Αχαιού βουλευτή.
«Ο Κώδικας αυτός όπως εφαρμόζεται στις Η.Π.Α με το νόμο «Senate Bill 510», απαγορεύει την χρήση θρεπτικών ουσιών όπως βιταμίνες και μέταλλα τα οποία χαρακτηρίζονται τοξίνες-δηλητήρια(!!) για την «πρόληψη, αντιμετώπιση, ή θεραπεία οποιασδήποτε πάθησης ή ασθένειας», ενώ κάθε είδος τροφής, ακόμα και τα οργανικά βιολογικά τρόφιμα, θα υποβάλλεται σε επεξεργασία με ακτινοβολία, προκειμένου να… «απομακρυνθούν», όλα τα… «τοξικά» θρεπτικά στοιχεία! Στις Η.Π.Α απαγορεύεται ακόμα και η ατομική-σπιτική καλλιέργεια!», δήλωσε ο κ. Νικολόπουλος, ο οποίος κατέθεσε Ερώτηση προς τους Υπουργούς Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων και Υγείας, Διατροφής και Άθλησης.
«Μάλιστα, τα επιτρεπόμενα από τον Κώδικα, θρεπτικά συστατικά είναι ουσίες όπως το φθόριο, το οποίο όμως συλλέγεται από βιομηχανικά απόβλητα!!! Όπως γράφει και ο αμερικανικός Τύπος, από την 1η Ιανουαρίου του 2010, η εφαρμογή του Κώδικα είναι υποχρεωτική, για τα κράτη-μέλη του Παγκοσμίου Οργανισμού Εμπορίου και αν ένα κράτος-μέλος, αρνηθεί να επικυρώσει ή να τηρήσει τους όρους του, χάνει αυτομάτως οποιαδήποτε προσφυγή γίνει εναντίον του, από άλλο κράτος, όσο παράλογη κι αν είναι!», τόνισε ο Αχαιός Βουλευτής.
Ο κ. Νικολόπουλος, ερωτά τους Υπουργούς «αν είναι αληθή όσα είδαν το φως της δημοσιότητας για την κατάθεση σχεδίου Νόμου προς ψήφιση, σε σχέση με το «Ενιαίο Μητρώο Εμπόρων Αγροτικών Προϊόντων» και τον Διατροφικό Κώδικα και αν θα ισχύσουν και στην Ελλάδα όσα προβλέπει ο Κώδικας.
Επίσης, ερωτά αν έχει ζητηθεί γνωμοδότηση επιστημόνων στην Ελλάδα επί της εφαρμογής του Νόμου για το Μητρώο και τον Κώδικα και αν ναι, ποιοι επιστημονικοί φορείς έχουν γνωμοδοτήσει και τι λένε ή αν θα ζητηθεί τέτοια γνωμοδότηση.»
«Μείζον ερώτημα είναι και αν είναι ασφαλής για την δημόσια υγεία, η εμπορία και κατανάλωση προϊόντων που προβλέπει ο Κώδικας. Τεκμηριώνεται άραγε από επιστήμονες; Κι αν όχι θα εφαρμοστεί αυτός ο Κώδικας; Αλλά και ένα ακόμα: Πώς θα αντιδράσει η Ελλάδα και πώς θα προστατευθεί αν άλλο Κράτος-μέλος του Π.Ο.Ε προσφύγει στον Π.Ο.Ε σε ενδεχόμενη μη επικύρωση ή εφαρμογή του Κώδικα;», κατέληξε ο κ. Νικολόπουλος.

Ελλάδα τον Απρίλιο!
Εάν υπάρχει ένα εργαλείο με το οποίο μπορείς να ελέγξεις απόλυτα τον άνθρωπο, αυτό είναι η ίδια του η τροφή, το αγαθό με το οποίο εξασφαλίζει την επιβίωση του. Πίσω απ' τον περίφημο διατροφικό κώδικα κρύβεται μια εφιαλτική πραγματικότητα. Ο κώδικας ισχύει επίσημα από το 1963 με τη σύμπραξη του οργανισμού Τροφίμων και Γεωργίας (FAQ) και του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Εμπορίου (ΠΟΕ), όπου και δημιουργήθηκε η επιτροπή που λειτουργεί πίσω απ' τον κώδικα, επιτροπή η οποία υπάγεται στον Ο.Η.Ε..
ΙΣΤΟΡΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΚΩΔΙΚΑ
Η ιστορία του κώδικα alimentarius αρχίζει το 1893 στην Αυστροουγγαρία. Αιτία ήταν τα προβληματα που είχαν προκύψει κατά την εκδίκαση υποθέσεων για θέματα διατροφής και τροφίμων τα οποία έκαναν επιτακτική την ανάγκη να υπάρξει ένας κοινός κανονισμός. Ο κανονισμός αυτός, εφαρμόστηκε επιτυχώς έως το 1918, όταν διαλύθηκε η Αυστροουγγαρία.
Ο κώδικας όμως δεν ξεχάστηκε. Χρόνια αργότερα έκανε και πάλι την εμφάνισή του σε ένα εντελώς διαφορετικό πνεύμα του ελέγχου του πληθυσμού μέσα από τη διατροφή. Ιθύνων νους της νέας ιδέας ήταν ο Fritz derMeer. Πρόεδρος της εταιρίας I.G.FARBEN. Η εταιρία I.G.FARBEN κατασκεύαζε όπλα, πυρομαχικά για το ναζιστικό στρατό καθώς και ειδικό το αέριο μαζικής εξόντωσης των κρατούμενων. Ο Fritz derMeer καταδικάστηκε στη δίκη της Νυρεμβέργης για πολλαπλά εγκλήματα κατά της ανθρωπότητας αλλά λίγα χρόνια μετά αποφυλακίστηκε.Λίγους μήνες μετά πρότεινε την επαναφορά του κώδικα Alimentarius ως μέσο ελέγχου του πληθυσμού μέσω της τροφής. Ο ΟΗΕ με απόφαση του, το 1962 ενεργοποιεί ξανά τον κώδικα με το επιχείρημα της προστασίας των καταναλωτών.

Ο ΝΕΟΣ ΤΡΟΠΟΠΟΙΗΜΕΝΟΣ
ΚΩΔΙΚΑΣ (USA: Νόμος S-510)
Το θέμα δε θα ήταν φοβερό αν ο κώδικας όντως ακολουθούσε την αρχική του λογική. Ο κώδικας αναγράφει πλέον μόνο τα διατροφικά είδη που επιτρέπονται και ορίζει αυτομάτως παράνομη κάθε παρέκκλιση απ' τα επιτρεπόμενα.
Έως και σήμερα η υιοθέτηση όλων των διατάξεων του κώδικα δεν ήταν υποχρεωτική για όλα τα κράτη. Ωστόσο, μετά και την τελευταία συνεδρίαση της επιτροπής το 2008 στην Ελβετία, όπου οι ΗΠΑ τέθηκαν επικεφαλής της επιτροπής, οι παράγραφοι για τα πολυβιταμινούχα τρόφιμα ενεργοποιήθηκαν και η εφαρμογή του κώδικα γίνεται πλέον υποχρεωτική για όλες τις χώρες του ΠΟΕ (Παγκόσμιος Οργανισμός Εμπορίου).
Κάθε χώρα που θα υποδεχτεί τον κώδικα θα είναι υποχρεωμένη να μην εμποδίζει με κανένα τρόπο την ελεύθερη εισαγωγή γενετικά τροποποιημένων προϊόντων, ζώων και επικίνδυνων χημικών. Οποιαδήποτε αντίσταση στον κώδικα θα θεωρείται συγκαλυμμένη παρεμπόδιση του εμπορίου και θα έχει ως συνέπεια οικονομικές κυρώσεις για τη χώρα που θα αντιδράσει. Επίσης η χώρα εκείνη δε θα μπορεί να εισάγει ή να εξάγει κανένα προϊόν διατροφής. Στην Ελλάδα ...

Η Ελλάδα εκτός του ότι συμμετέχει στον ΠΟΕ , τυγχάνει να είναι μέλος της ευρωπαϊκής ένωσης, που σημαίνει ότι επίσημος διαπραγματευτής σε όλες τις συμφωνίες είναι η ευρωπαϊκή επιτροπή. Οι υπεύθυνοι στην Ελλάδα τηρούν σιγή ιχθύος. Γνωρίζουν αλλά επικαλούνται τη θέση τους και δε θέλουν να μιλήσουν (πρόεδρος ΕΦΕΤ κ.α.)
ΤΙ ΑΛΛΑΖΕΙ ΣΤΗ ΔΙΑΤΡΟΦΗ ΜΑΣ
Με την εφαρμογή του κώδικα, βιταμίνες A, B, C, D, ιχνοστοιχεία όπως ο ψευδάργυρος και το μαγνήσιο θα είναι παράνομα, όταν οι ποσότητές θα είναι θεραπευτικές. Ο νέος κώδικας θα απαγορεύει τη χρήση θρεπτικών ουσιών όπως βιταμίνες ή μέταλλα οι οποίες λαμβάνονται για πρόληψη ή την αντιμετώπιση κάποιας πάθησης. Αυτές οι ουσίες θα χαρακτηρίζονται ως τοξικές και δηλητήρια. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι θα απαγορεύεται ακόμη και η συνταγή γιατρού, που δίνει συμπληρώματα διατροφής ή φάρμακα με βιταμίνες, ακόμα κι αν κάποιος τα έχει πραγματικά ανάγκη.
Συγκεκριμένα η δοσολογία θα περιορίζεται μονό στο 15% της συνιστώμενης ποσότητας. Η θεραπεία θα υπάρχει με άλλα φάρμακα των εταιριών τα οποία θα κοστίζουν πολύ περισσότερο. Το ίδιο απαγορευμένες θα είναι και οι διατροφικές συμβουλές που έχουν να κάνουν με την ενίσχυση της διατροφής, μέσω της λήψης θρεπτικών ουσιών. Τα τρόφιμα θα υποβάλλονται υποχρεωτικά σε ελέγχους για τις ποσότητες που εμπεριέχουν και θα τροποποιούνται με ακτινοβολία, έτσι ώστε να αποβάλλουν οποιαδήποτε πλεονάζουσα "τοξική" ουσία. η λίστα των θρεπτικών ουσιών που θα επιτρέπονται θα είναι αρκετά περιορισμένη.
Εκτός του ότι ο κώδικας θα θέσει εκτός λίστας, σημαντικά συστατικά για την ανθρώπινη διατροφή, την ίδια στιγμή προστίθενται σ' αυτές κάποιες επιβλαβείς ουσίες, όπως για παράδειγμα το φθόριο, το οποίο παράγεται από βιομηχανικά απόβλητα. Ήδη το 66% του νερού των ΗΠΑ φθοριώνεται.
[Το φθόριο πρωτοχρησιμοποιήθηκε στο Γκουλάγκ επειδή ανακαλύφθηκε ότι οι κρατούμενοι που έπιναν νερό με φθόριο ήταν συγκαταβατικοί κ μπορούσες έτσι εύκολα να τους ελέγξεις και να τους χειραγωγήσεις. Πλέον το συναντάμε σχεδόν σε όλες τις οδοντόκρεμες κ αρκετά κράτη πλέον φθοριώνουν το νερό].
Πέρα από τη λίστα των παράνομων "τοξικών" συστατικών των τροφών, η επιτροπή Alimentarius ανοίγει το δρόμο στα γενετικά τροποποιημένα τρόφιμα, αλλά και ζώα που θα παράγουν την τροφή μας.
Ο νέος κώδικας προβλέπει ότι οι αγελάδες που θα παράγουν τα γαλακτοκομικά προϊόντα, θα λαμβάνουν υποχρεωτικά την αυξητική ορμόνη rBGH της διαβόητης πολυεθνικής Monsato. Ήδη το αγελαδινό γάλα αποτελεί το νούμερο 1 κίνδυνο ασθενειών του πλανήτη. Κάθε ζώο που θα χρησιμοποιείται για τη διατροφή μας θα υφίσταται αγωγή με υποκλινικά αντιβιοτικά και αυξητικές ορμόνες επίσης υποχρεωτικά. Ο κώδικας απαιτεί κάθε είδους τροφής να υφίσταται επεξεργασία με ακτινοβολία εκτός κ αν καταναλώνεται ωμό και σε τοπικό επίπεδο. Ο κώδικας συμπεριλαμβάνει φυσικά και τα βιολογικά προϊόντα που πλέον βιολογικά θα θεωρούνται όταν και σε αυτά έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί κτηνιατρικά φάρμακα, αυξητικές ορμόνες κτλ. κατά συνεπεία μάλλον οποίος θέλει θα το βαφτίζει βιολογικό.
Ακόμη και εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνα εντομοκτόνα όπως το DDT, για το οποίο στο παρελθόν είχε δημιουργηθεί σάλος όταν αποδείχτηκε η καρκινογόνα επίδρασή του, θα εισαχθούν και πάλι στο εμπόριο. Το DDT, η διελδρίνη η αλδρίνη, το εξαχλωροβενζόλιο και το camphechlor κρίθηκαν από 176 χώρες επικίνδυνα και απαγορευτήκαν το 1991 στη σύνοδο της Στοκχόλμης. Και όμως, επιστρέφουν κανονικά και με το νόμο 7 απ' τα 9 απαγορευμένα επικίνδυνα εντομοκτόνα!!! Πολλές λειτουργίες και συστήματα ενζύμων του ανθρώπου μοιάζουν με αυτά των εντόμων, οπότε ο νοών νοητό...διαφορές παθήσεις που οφείλονται στην υποδιατροφη και στους προαναφερθέντες παράγοντες, είναι οι πλέον επικερδείς όπως ο καρκίνος, ο ζαχαρώδης διαβήτης, καρδιαγγειακές παθήσεις κ.α.
Άλλη μια ουσία που θα επιτρέπεται με το νέο κώδικα, είναι η αφλατοξίνη, καθώς επίσης και η συσσώρευσή της σε υψηλά ποσοστά στο γάλα. Η συγκεκριμένη ουσία είναι η δεύτερη πιο καρκινογόνα και συναντάται σε μουχλιασμένες ζωικές τροφές.
Είναι εύκολο να αντιληφθεί κάποιος τα τεράστια οικονομικά συμφέροντα που κρύβονται πίσω απ' τον κώδικα. θυμίζουμε, ότι ο εμπνευστής του κώδικα ήταν ο ιδρυτής τριών πανίσχυρων σήμερα φαρμακοβιομηχανιών.

ο κώδικας διατροφής εδώ κ περισσότερο από 10 χρονιά επιταχύνεται κ επεκτείνεται. 185 χώρες έχουν ενσωματώσει τον κώδικα διατροφής στα νομικά τους συστήματα. στην πλήρη εφαρμογή του αν καταφέρουν να περιορίσουν τις αντιδράσεις μας, θα είναι καταστρεπτικές για την ανθρωπότητα και γενικά για τη ζωή μας. Προς το παρόν γίνονται "εμβολιασμοί" με οδηγίες προς τα κράτη, με θέσπιση νόμων που καλλιεργούν το έδαφος για την πλήρη εφαρμογή του. Ίσως απ' το 2017 να δούμε πράματα κ θάματα. Από 1 Απριλίου 2011 μπαίνει σε εφαρμογή μια οδηγία της ευρωπαϊκής ένωσης η οποία θα εφαρμοστεί και απ' την Αγγλία, η οποία περιλαμβάνει τα φαρμακευτικά παραδοσιακά προϊόντα φυτικής προέλευσης.
Στην Ελλάδα ψηφίστηκε από "επιτροπή", κατά τον προσφιλή τρόπο, προκειμένου να διατηρείται η ανωνυμία. Απ' τις 1 Απριλίου 2006 και για τα επόμενα 5 χρονιά δόθηκε περιθώριο να κατοχυρωθούν φυτικά προϊόντα. Κατοχυρώθηκαν λοιπόν μόλις 183. Μονό αυτά τα προϊόντα αποτελούν εμπορεύσιμο είδος κ κατά "ναπολεόντειο" νομό το εμπόριο άλλων φυτικών προϊόντων που δεν περιλαμβάνει η λίστα είναι παράνομο, επομένως δε θα υπάρχει στα ράφια των καταστημάτων. Αν υπάρξει κατανάλωση κάποιου φυτικού προϊόντος στο σπίτι, που δεν περιλαμβάνεται στη λίστα και ως εκ τούτου δεν έχει περάσει από έλεγχο φαρμακοβιομηχανίας, ο καταναλωτής μπορεί να έχει πρόβλημα με το νόμο. Ναι, μπορεί να μηνυθεί π.χ. μια μητέρα για το τσάι που έφτιαξε στο παιδί κ αυτό έπαθε ενδεχομένως μια άσχετη αρρώστια κτλ. Επίσης η οδηγία απαγορεύει συμπληρώματα διατροφής και βιβλία σχετικά με τη χρήση βοτάνων και ιχνοστοιχείων κ.α.
Το φυτικά προϊόντα έχουν ελάχιστο κόστος παραγωγής καθώς είναι προϊόντα της φύσης. εφόσον όμως εμπορευτούν ως εκχύλισμα, επεξεργασία, συσκευασία κτλ από τις φαρμακευτικές εταιρίες, ανεβαίνει 1000 φορές πάνω η αξία τους. 1 στρέμμα ελληνικής αγρίας φύσεως η φαρμακευτική εταιρία υπολογίζεται ότι μπορεί να έχει κέρδος το χρόνο από 10000-20000 ?. Πρόσφατα η κυβέρνηση θέλησε να ψηφίσει νομό για τις περιοχές νατούρα οι οποίες ήδη καταλαμβάνουν το 23% της Ελλάδος όταν στα υπόλοιπα κράτη του κόσμου δεν υπερβαίνει το 4%. Αυτές οι περιοχές είναι έτοιμες να παραδοθούν προς εκμετάλλευση από φαρμακευτικές κ λοιπές εταιρίες και για τον ίδιο λόγο πρέπει να σκεφτούμε αν είναι τυχαία η απελευθέρωση του επαγγέλματος των φαρμακοποιών καθώς εμπεριέχει ορούς που τείνουν στα παραπάνω.
Αξίζει ακόμα να σημειωθούν οι ενέργειες του πρωθυπουργού μας Γ.Α.Π. που δε χάνει ευκαιρία να δίνει πρώτος το καλό παράδειγμα κ να αποδεικνύει για ποιους δουλεύει. Πριν λίγους μήνες υπέγραψε την εισαγωγή μεταλλαγμένο σπόρο πατάτας, ειδικώς για τη χωρά μας και όχι για τα κράτη της ευρωπαϊκής ένωσης. Έρευνες γνωστών έδειξαν πως ο μεταλλαγμένος αυτός σπόρος πατάτας προκαλεί γεννητικές μεταλλάξεις.
Κλείνοντας θα ήθελα να πω πως η νέα τάξη πραγμάτων τα τελευταία λίγα χρονιά προχωράει με βήματα γοργά. Κάτω απ' το δόγμα του σοκ που υποβάλλουν τον άνθρωπο μας περιμένουν αλλαγές που δε μπορεί ο μέσος νους να συνειδητοποιήσει. Ενδεχομένως ο μέσος νους να είναι αποχαυνωμένος απ' τον έλεγχο κ την προπαγάνδα που του ασκείται με ποικίλους τρόπους . Έτσι αδυνατούν να αντιληφθούν το βαθμό έλλειψης συνειδητότητας.
Στον «κώδικα διατροφής» ταιριάζει περισσότερο η ονομασία «κώδικας διαστροφής». Σε κάποιους θα φανούν ακραία όλα αυτά που διάβασαν. Μήπως όμως δε γνωρίζουμε την ιστορία του παρανοϊκού συλλογικού νου; Ας είμαστε λοιπόν σε εγρήγορση κ ας μοιραστούμε τις γνώσεις μας υπερασπιζόμενοι τα φυσικά δικαιώματα μας.

Εκατομμύρια άνθρωποι αναμένεται να υποφέρουν από εκφυλιστικές παθήσεις, λόγω κακής διατροφής και περιορισμένης λήψης σημαντικών διατροφικών στοιχείων, εάν επιτραπεί στους ισχυρούς παγκόσμιους οργανισμούς να «ομογενοποιήσουν» τον κόσμο μέσω του Νέου ΚώδικαΔιατροφής...

Πολύ λίγοι είναι προς το παρόν εκείνοι που έχουν ακούσει για την ύπαρξη του Διατροφικού
Κώδικα (Codex Alimentarius), ενώ και οι περισσότεροι από αυτούς δεν είναι σε θέση να αντιληφθούν
την εφιαλτική πραγματικότητα που κρύβεται πίσω από την πανίσχυρη αυτή εμπορική επιτροπή.

Σύμφωνα με την ανακοίνωση στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα του Διατροφικού Κώδικα
(http://www.codexalimentarius.net/web/index_en.jsp), αποστολή του είναι να αναπτύξει κανονισμούς
τροφίμων, οδηγίες και σχετικά κείμενα όπως κώδικες πρακτικής κάτω από το κοινό πρόγραμμα των
FAO /WHO. Δηλ. η λειτουργία του Διατροφικού Κώδικα στηρίζεται σε μία σύμπραξη ανάμεσα στον
Οργανισμό Τροφίμων και Γεωργίας (Food and Agriculture Organization - FAO) και τον
Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό Υγείας (World Health Organization - WHO). Προωθώντας παράλληλα τον
συντονισμό όλων των κανονισμών που αφορούν στην παραγωγή τροφής και λαμβάνονται από
διεθνείς κυβερνητικούς και μη κυβερνητικούς οργανισμούς.
Η ιστορία του Κώδικα αρχίζει το 1893, όταν οι επικεφαλής της Αύστρο-Ουγγρικής Αυτοκρατορίας
αποφάσισαν ότι ήταν απαραίτητο να δημιουργηθεί ένα σύνολο συγκεκριμένων οδηγιών, βάσει των
οποίων τα δικαστήρια θα έκριναν τις υποθέσεις που σχετίζονταν με ζητήματα διατροφής και
τροφίμων. Το όνομα που δόθηκε στις οδηγίες αυτές ήταν «Codex Alimentarius» και εφαρμόστηκε με
επιτυχία έως την πτώση της αυτοκρατορίας το 1918.
Ωστόσο, εμπνευστής του διατροφικού κώδικα στη σύγχρονη -οργουελική- εκδοχή του(σύμφωνα με
την εκπρόσωπο του Natural Solutions Foundation, Sp. Rima E. Laibow M.D., από ομι-λία της στον
αμερικανικό Εθνικό Οργανισμό Διατροφής - Codex and Nutricide, 2005) δεν είναι άλλος από τον
καταδικασμένο από το δικαστήριο της Νυρεμβέργης πρόεδρο της κολοσσιαίας Γερμανικής εταιρίας
I.G. Farben, Fritz derMeer. Ήταν ο άνθρωπος που, μεταξύ άλλων, «εμπνεύστηκε» και το περίφημο
λογότυπο «Arbeit Macht Frei» («Η εργασία απελευθερώνει»), το οποίο «κοσμούσε» την είσοδο του
στρατοπέδου συγκέντρωσης στο Άουσβιτς.
Η εταιρία του derMeer παρασκεύαζε από το θανατηφόρο μείγμα αερίων που χρησιμοποιούνταν
στους περίφημους θαλάμους αερίων, μέχρι τον χάλυβα και τα πυρομαχικά των Ναζί (μετά τη λήξη
του Πολέμου και την καταδίκη 24 από τα μέλη της από το δικαστήριο της Νυρεμβέργης, η εταιρία
«διασπάστηκε» σε τρεις μεγάλες φαρμακευτικές εταιρίες, τις γνωστές BASF, Hoechst και Bayer).
Η επανεισαγωγή του Κώδικα Διατροφής αποφασίστηκε το 1962 σε μία συνεδρίαση του ΟΗΕ.
Στο σημείο αυτό αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η υπεύθυνη για τον Κώδικα Διατροφής επιτροπή είναι
επιτροπή εμπορίου χωρίς υγειονομική αρμοδιότητα, παρόλο που χρηματοδοτείται κατά το 1/3 από
τον Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό Υγείας. Από το 2002, οπότε και οι μεγάλες βιομηχανίες επέλεξαν να
στηρίξουν τον Κώδικα (παρά τις εισηγήσεις για αναίρεση του από μισθωμένο εξωτερικό σύμβουλο
αξιολόγησης), αυτός χρησιμοποιείται με την κάλυψη πολυεθνικών εταιριών που δραστηριοποιούνται
στους τομείς τόσο των φαρμάκων, όσο και των αγροτικών και χημικών προϊόντων, προωθώντας την
αύξηση των κερδών τους και την υλοποίηση της ατζέντας τους για έλεγχο του παγκόσμιου
πληθυσμού.
Στην τελευταία συνεδρίαση για την προώθηση του Διατροφικού Κώδικα, η οποία
πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Ελβετία από τις 30 Ιουνίου έως τις 4 Ιουλίου 2008, αποφασίστηκε να τεθούν
οι ΗΠΑ επικεφαλής χώρα της επιτροπής, με τη σταθερή υποστήριξη των συμμάχων τους(Αυστραλία,
Αργεντινή, Βραζιλία, Καναδάς, Ινδονησία, Ιαπωνία, Μαλαισία, Μεξικό, Σιγκαπούρη και Ε.Ε.).
Συντονισμένη απειλή για την παγκόσμια υγεία:
Ο Κώδικας δρα υπό την αιγίδα του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Εμπορίου, έχοντας τη λογική των
Ναπολεόντιων νόμων - αντί δηλαδή για τη συνήθη πρακτική, κατά την οποία αναγράφονται τα
διατροφικά στοιχεία και οι ουσίες που απαγορεύονται, ο Κώδικας αναγράφει μόνο τα διατροφικά είδη
που επιτρέπονται, καθιστώντας αυτομάτως παράνομη την κατοχή, παραγωγή και εμπορία
οποιουδήποτε διατροφικού είδους και στοιχείου δεν περιλαμβάνεται σε αυτόν.
Όπως εξηγεί η δρ. Ριμα Λέυμποου, από την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2010, οπότε η εφαρμογή του Κώδικα
θα γίνει υποχρεωτική για τα κράτη-μέλη του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Εμπορίου, αν ένα κράτος-μέλος αρνηθεί να επικυρώσει ή να τηρήσει τους όρους του, χάνει αυτομάτως οποιαδήποτε
προσφυγή γίνει εναντίον του από άλλο κράτος μέλος, όσο εξωφρενική και αν είναι αυτή!
Πολλοί κρατικοί οργανισμοί και υπηρεσίες, όπως η Διεύθυνση Θεραπευτικών Αγαθών της
Αυστραλίας, επιχειρούν να κατευνάσουν τις ανησυχίες του κοινού, καταφεύγοντας σε διαβεβαιώσεις
ότι οι οδηγίες του Κώδικα για την κατάργηση των βιταμινών και των μετάλλων δεν θα εφαρμοστούν
στη χώρα τους. Ωστόσο, κανείς δεν γνωρίζει ποιοι άλλοι συνοδευτικοί νόμοι θα θεσπιστούν εν όψει
της εναρμόνισης των κρατών-μελών του Οργανισμού με τις οδηγίες του Κώδικα.
Ορισμένες από τις ρυθμίσεις που προβλέπονται από τον Διατροφικό Κώδικα, οι οποίες προτείνεται να τεθούν σε ισχύ στο προσεχές μέλλον και, θα είναι αμετάκλητες, περιλαμβάνουν τα
εξής:
*Ο Κώδικας θα απαγορεύει τη χρήση Θρεπτικών Ουσιών (π.χ. βιταμινών και μετάλλων για την «πρόληψη, αντιμετώπιση ή θεραπεία οποιασδήποτε πάθησης ή ασθένειας», χαρακτηρίζοντάς τις «τοξίνες/δηλητήρια».
* Κάθε είδος τροφής (ακόμα και τα οργανικά βιολογικά τρόφιμα) θα υποβάλλεται σε επεξεργασία με ακτινοβολία, προκειμένου να απομακρυνθούν όλα τα «τοξικά» θρεπτικά στοιχεία (εκτός και αν οι
καταναλωτές μπορούν να παράγουν και να καταναλώνουν την τροφή τους σε τοπικό επίπεδο).Μία πρόγευση της εν λόγω οδηγίας είχαν οι καταναλωτές των ΗΠΑ τον Αύγουστο του 2008, με την υποχρεωτική υποβολή των μαρουλιών και του σπανακιού της χώρας σε μαζική επεξεργασία με ακτίνες, στο όνομα της «δημόσιας ασφάλειας». Αν ο Αμερικανικός Οργανισμός Τροφίμων και Φαρμάκων έπραξε με γνώμονα την προστασία του κοινού, τότε γιατί δεν ενημερώθηκε η αμερικανική Κοινή Γνώμη;
*Τα επιτρεπόμενα θρεπτικά στοιχεία θα είναι περιορισμένα σε αυτά που αναγράφονται στη λίστα του Κώδικα, η οποία θα περιλαμβάνει «ευεργετικές» ουσίες, όπως το Φθόριο (3,8 mg ημερησίως), το οποίο θα συλλέγεται από βιομηχανικά απόβλητα. Όλα τα θρεπτικά στοιχεία
(π.χ. οι βιταμίνες Α, Β, C, D, ο ψευδάργυρος και το μαγνήσιο) ανακηρύσσονται παράνομα σε θεραπευτικές δοσολογίες και θα μειωθούν σε ποσότητες αμελητέες, με μέγιστο όριο το 15%της σημερινής συνιστώμενης ημερήσιας δόσης. Ακόμα και με συνταγή γιατρού θα είναι αδύνατο για κάποιον να βρίσκει τα παραπάνω στοιχεία σε μεγαλύτερες θεραπευτικές δόσεις, σε όποιο μέρος του κόσμου και αν βρίσκεται.
Είναι πιθανό να ανακηρυχθούν παράνομες οι συμβουλές που δίνονται για τη διατροφή καιαφορούν σε βιταμίνες και μέταλλα (συμπεριλαμβανομένων των άρθρων που θα δημοσιεύονται σε περιοδικά ή στο Διαδίκτυο, καθώς και προφορικών συμβουλών σε οποιονδήποτε). Τέτοιου είδους
πληροφόρηση ενδέχεται να θεωρηθεί συγκεκαλυμμένη παρεμπόδιση του εμπορίου και ίσως να οδηγήσει σε οικονομικές κυρώσεις για την εμπλεκόμενη χώρα.
*Όλες οι αγελάδες που θα χρησιμοποιούνται για την παραγωγή γαλακτοκομικών προϊόντων σε όλο τον πλανήτη θα υποβάλλονται υποχρεωτικά σε αγωγή με τη γενετικά τροποποιημένη αυξητική ορμόνη των βοοειδών της Μονσάντο.
*Όλα τα ζώα που θα χρησιμοποιούνται για τη διατροφή θα υποβάλλονται σε αγωγή με ισχυρά αντιβιοτικά και εξωγενείς αυξητικές ορμόνες.
*Θα επανεισαχθεί η χρήση στη διατροφή επικίνδυνων και καρκινογόνων εντομοκτόνων συμπεριλαμβανομένων και επτά από τα θεωρούμενα ως δώδεκα χειρότερα (όπως π.χ. το DDT, το εξαχλωροβενζόλιο, το αλντρίν και το τοξαφαίνιο), η χρήση των οποίων απαγορεύτηκε στη σύνοδο της Στοκχόλμης το 1991 από 176 χώρες (συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των ΗΠΑ). Αυτό,μεταξύ άλλων, σημαίνει ότι στο εξής καμία χώρα δεν θα έχει το δικαίωμα να εμποδίσει την εισαγωγή και να προβεί σε απαγόρευση της κυκλοφορίας τροφίμων που περιέχουν τα παραπάνω- χαρακτηρισμένα ως εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνα, με μόνιμες επιπτώσεις - χημικά, καθώς αυτό θα
σήμαινε παραβίαση των διεθνών κανονισμών εμπορίου, οδηγώντας σε εξοντωτικές οικονομικέςκυρώσεις.
*Ο Κώδικας θα επιτρέπει τη συσσώρευση σε επικίνδυνα και τοξικά επίπεδα της αφλατοξίνης (0,5ppm) στο γάλα, Πρόκειται για τη δεύτερη ισχυρότερη καρκινογόνο ουσία (από τις μη σχετιζόμενεςμε ραδιενεργό ακτινοβολία), η οποία παράγεται σε ζωικές τροφές που έχουν αναπτύξει μήκυτες
(μούχλα) κατά την αποθήκευση τους.
*Η χρήση αυξητικών ορμονών και αντιβιοτικών θα καταστεί υποχρεωτική σε όλα τα είδη ζώων, πτηνών, πουλερικών και ψαριών που προορίζονται για την ανθρώπινη διατροφή. Θα επιβληθεί σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο η εισαγωγή άγνωστων και δυνητικά θανάσιμων γενετικά τροποποιημένων ποικιλιών σε ζώα, ψάρια και πτηνά. Θα επιτραπούν αυξημένα επίπεδα σε κατάλοιπα από - γνωστά για τις τοξικές τους επιπτώσεις σε ανθρώπους και ζώα-εντομοκτόνα και φυτοφάρμακα.
Όπως πολύ εύστοχα παρατηρεί η δρ. Ρίμα, βιταμίνες, μέταλλα, ακόμα και βότανα (όπως η εξαιρετικά
ευεργετική για το ανοσοποιητικό σύστημα Εχινάτσια) πρόκειται να απαγορευτούν κατά αντίστοιχο
τρόπο με τις ναρκωτικές ουσίες, αν οι πολίτες δεν αντισταθούν στην εφαρμογή των διατάξεων του
νέου Διατροφικού Κώδικα.
Μαζική εξόντωση του πληθυσμού:
Το γεγονός ότι, στα περισσότερα κράτη (π.χ. στις ΗΠΑ, από το 1995), ισχύουν διατάξεις που
καθορίζουν ότι οι διεθνείς κανονισμοί υπερισχύουν των εγχωρίων νόμων, καθιστά ουσιαστικά
αδύνατη την αναίρεση του Διατροφικού Κώδικα μετά την εφαρμογή της «εναρμονισμένης»
λειτουργίας του από τα κράτη-μέλη του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Εμπορίου το 2010.
Ο Κώδικας ίσως θα μπορούσε να περιγραφεί ακριβέστερα ως ένας οικονομικά επωφελής
μηχανισμός ελέγχου του πληθυσμού, μέσω του οποίου οι ΗΠΑ, καθοδηγούμενες κυρίως από τις
μεγάλες φαρμακευτικές εταιρίες, αποβλέπουν στη μείωση του παγκόσμιου πληθυσμού από τα
σημερινά εκτιμώμενα 6,692 δισ. στα εκτιμώμενα 500 εκατ. - μείωση κατά περίπου 93%!
Ουσιαστικά, πρόκειται για την εφαρμογή μιας μεθοδολογίας που βρίσκεται σε αντιστοιχία με άλλες
πρακτικές που ήδη τίθενται σε εφαρμογή για τον ίδιο σκοπό, όπως π.χ. η εισαγωγή ουσιών και
στοιχείων στα εμβόλια που καταστρέφουν το DΝΑ και αναστέλλουν τη λειτουργία του
ανοσοποιητικού συστήματος (ακόμα και στελέχη της γρίπης των πτηνών ή του ιού του ΑIDS), η
γενικευμένη χρήση της ασπαρτάμης, η επιβολή των αεροψεκασμών, η χημειοθεραπεία για την
αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου κ.λπ.
Σύμφωνα με τους υπολογισμούς του Αμερικανικού Οργανισμού Τροφίμων και Προϊόντων Γεωργικής
Παραγωγής (ΡΑΟ) και του Παγκοσμίου Οργανισμού Υγείας (WΗΟ), από μόνη της η οδηγία για

«Ήδη στην Αμερική έχει ξεκινήσει η εφαρμογή του νόμου που έχει κατατεθεί στο Κογκρέσο και αφορά την απαγόρευση καλλιέργειας οργανικών τροφών.

Ο νόμος θα δίνει το δικαίωμα στην κυβέρνηση των ΗΠΑ να απαγορεύει ή να νομιμοποιεί το μέχρι τώρα δικαίωμα όλων για την καλλιέργεια, το εμπόριο και την μεταφορά όλων των τροφίμων.
Ο νόμος δίνει το δικαίωμα στον «Μεγάλο Αδερφό» να ρυθμίζει μέχρι και την καλλιέργεια ντοματών στην αυλή του σπιτιού μας.
Δίνει το δικαίωμα στην κυβέρνηση να συλλαμβάνει και να φυλακίζει ανθρώπους που πωλούν αγγούρια στην λαϊκή. Θα ποινικοποιεί τη μεταφορά οργανικών τροφών αν δεν συμμορφώνεται κάποιος με τους κανόνες των αρχών».

Rome - 4th of July 2007. Americans are celebrating this day as a special holiday signifying freedom and independence. But it is a work-day here in Rome at FAO, the Food and Agriculture Organization's headquarters, where the Codex Commission is having its week-long yearly general meeting. Freedom and independence are not really high on the agenda at Codex - rather the contrary, as more and more rules are passed that curb individual choice but allow corporations to do what they do best - dominate markets.
Codex Alimentarius, the food rule-making body of the United Nations has invited delegates from all countries to the thirtieth session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. The Roman headquarters of FAO is within a stone's throw of the Baths of Caracalla on one side and the oval arena of the Circus Maximus on the other, just down the road from the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum , the old cultural and administrative center of the city in its heyday of empire two millennia ago. What better place than this to forge the laws for a coming corporate empire...
The 30th Codex Alimentarius Commission meeting
The week-long meeting in Rome started Monday 2 July and is scheduled to end Friday or Saturday, leaving time for sight-seeing, but temperatures have already risen into the forbidding range beyond the 30 degree C mark - 86 degrees + in Fahrenheit, spoiling much of the fun of daytime excursions. But then - most of the action is in the evenings - in air conditioned hotels, good restaurants and favorite night spots.
The meeting's atmosphere is business-like, as you would expect from a world legislative body engaged in making the food laws for future humanity. And laws they are, even though the official word is that regulations and guidelines passed by Codex are 'voluntary' for the member nations. It is the World Trade Organization that provides the enforcement arm for those Codex rules, using them as the standard by which to adjudicate trade disputes. In consequence, no country can afford to contravene these rules, if it does not wish to risk heavy sanctions imposed as a penalty after a trade dispute.
Following this thought back to its logical conclusion, we arrive at a huge question, but one that is normally never asked:Who gave national ministry of health officials the authorization to commit their country to international lawsthat in time will bind their country without having been examined, much less approved, by national legislative assemblies?

Industry influence on Codex
For all intents and purposes, Codex Alimentarius unites over 150 accredited industry and other interest groups with an even larger number of national health authorities to make the rules for a globalized society where corporations have free reign and what they like to call a "level playing field". But the playing field they construct is so restricted by red tape and the level parts are so completely occupied by corporate interedsts that anything smaller than a multinational falls off the edges into commercial insignificance.
While at the Commission meeting, the presence of industry is somewhat muted, most of what is approved in the yearly plenary session has been discussed and elaborated in committee meetings during the last twelve months. It is there - at the level of individual committees and in the national Codex 'delegations' to those committees that industry has inordinate influence. No wonder that regulations that get approved set allowed levels of contamination, rather than eliminating the use of harmful substances in agriculture and food preparation. Actual examples from this year's crop of proposals, all of them passed without much discussion, are:
"Maximum Levels for Tin in Canned Foods and in Canned Beverages""Proposed draft Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides""Draft MRLs [Maximum Residue Limits] for Bovine Somatotropin"
Somatotropin of course is growth hormone, including Monsanto's infamous rBGH, the synthetic "recombinant bovine growth hormone" that has farmers in the US scrambling to label their milk as "hormone free" because consumers do not want to drink the milk flowing from the often inflamed udders of cows treated with the hormone. Monsanto can be content - in the future it will be sufficient to stay within the limits of 'allowed' contamination and no country will be able to refuse the milk from growth hormone treated cows without risking trade sanctions.
Another facet of this game of "stealth legislation" are genetically modified foods. They are made legally acceptable and countries are actually forced to allow them for cultivation and in foods, after the international body - Codex Alimentarius - has made regulations defining the circumstances and criteria for their evaluation. Practically, the concept of 'substantial equivalence' of genetically modified varieties with those we have grown for millennia, dumps the burden of proof that GM varieties are a danger to our health on the consuming public and a handful of honest but underfunded scientists. Jeffrey Smith, the author of the book Seeds of Deception explains in this article why GM crops should never have been approved and how the scam of 'substantial equivalence' works to level the playing field for the corporations.
Codex targets food supplements
This year's plenary session of the Codex Commission does not deal with supplements. The regulations for those nutrient-containing products were adopted two years ago, on 4 July 2005. Nevertheless, Scott Tips of the National Health Federation is keeping a watchful eye on the meeting to make sure nothing sneaks by unrecorded.

The Codeath, sorry, Codex Alimentarius Commission is a very misunderstood organization. Most people have never heard of it, and those who have heard of it may not understand the true reality of this extremely powerful trade organization.
According to the official Codex website (http://www.codexalimentarius.net), the altruistic purpose of this commission is in “protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations”.
The Codex Alimentarius (Latin for “Food Code”) is regulated under a joint venture between the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Brief History of Codex
The history of Codex began in 1893 when the Austro-Hungarian Empire decided it needed a specific set of guidelines by which the courts could rule on cases dealing with food. 1 This set of regulatory mandates became known as Codex Alimentarius. It was effectively implemented until the fall of the empire in 1918.
At a meeting in 1962, the United Nations (UN) decided that Codex should be re-implemented worldwide in order to “protect” the health of consumers. Two- thirds of funding for Codex emanates from the FAO, and the other third comes from the WHO.
In 2002, FAO and WHO had serious concerns about the direction of Codex and hired an external consultant to determine its performance since 1962 and to designate which direction to take the trade organization. The consultant concluded that Codex should be scrapped immediately. It was at this time that big industry stepped in and exerted its powerful influence. The updated outcome was a toned-down report asking Codex to address 20 concerns within the organization.

Since 2002, the Codex Alimentarius Commission has covertly surrendered its role as an international public health and consumer protection organization. Under the helm of big industry, the surreptitious purpose of the new Codex is to increase profits for the global corporate juggernauts while controlling the world through food.
Codex Inequalities
The most dominant country behind the agenda of Codex is the United States, whose primary purpose is to benefit the large multinational interests of Big Pharma, Big Agribusiness, Big Chema and the like. At the latest meeting in Geneva, Switzerland (30 June to 4 July 2008), the US became the chair of Codex and now will exacerbate the distortion of health freedom and continue to promulgate misinformation and lies about nutrients and genetically modified organisms (GMOs) while fulfilling its tacit population-control agenda.
One reason why the US continues to dominate Codex is because other countries falsely believe that it possesses the latest and greatest food safety technology; hence, whatever the US asks for, its allies (Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore and the European Union) follow suit nearly every time.
The fact that Codex meetings are held all over the world is also no accident and allows the US to maintain its tight grip on the Codex agenda because the less economically viable countries are not able to attend. The governments of many of these countries (such as Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan and Swaziland) realise that Codex has been altered from a benevolent food organisation to one that is fraudulent, lethal and illegitimate.
Health Freedom Threats
While the mainstream media are busy with their esoteric agenda of driving fear into the hearts of the world’s populace by focusing on terrorism, global warming, salmonella outbreaks and food shortages, the real threats are surreptitiously becoming a reality. Soon, every single thing you put into your mouth, including water (with the exception of pharmaceuticals, of course), will be highly regulated by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
The Codex standards are a complete affront to people’s freedom to access clean, healthy food and beneficial nutrients, yet these regulations have no legal international standing. Why should we be worried? These soon-to-be mandatory standards will apply to every country that’s a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) (presently there are 153 members). If countries do not follow these standards, then crippling economic and trade sanctions may be imposed on them, although countries may be able to avoid the standards of Codex through the implementation of their own international standards.
Some government-run agencies, like the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia, are informing the public that the vitamin and mineral guideline of Codex will not affect their country. For example, the TGA had this to say: “The proposed Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements will not apply in Australia and will have no impact on the way these types of products are regulated in Australia.”
The bottom line is that no one knows what types of laws will be passed before Codex harmonisation occurs, and no country is safe from these international guidelines, regardless of what government agencies are saying in order to quell pre-emptively any potential public uprising. Many alternative health activists believe this may be a method to confuse and obfuscate the Codex issue until it is too late.
Some Codex standards which are proposed to take effect in the near future, and which will be completely irrevocable once initiated, include:
• All nutrients (e.g., vitamins and minerals) are to be considered toxins/poisons and are to be removed from all food because Codex prohibits the use of nutrients to “prevent, treat or cure any condition or disease”.• All food (including organic) is to be irradiated, thus removing all “toxic” nutrients from food (unless consumers can source their food locally). The precursor to Codex harmonisation in this area began in the USA in August 2008 with the clandestine decision to mandate the mass irradiation of all lettuce and spinach in the name of public health and safety. If the safety of the public was the main concern of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), then why were people not alerted to this new practice?
• Nutrients allowed will be limited to a Positive List developed by Codex; it will include such “beneficial” nutrients as fluoride (3.8 mg daily), sourced from industrial waste.
…no country is safe from these mandatory international guidelines, regardless of what government agencies are saying in order to quell pre-emptively any potential public uprising.
• All nutrients (e.g., vitamins A, B, C, D, zinc and magnesium) that have any positive health impact on the body will be deemed illegal in therapeutic doses under Codex and are to be reduced to amounts negligible to health, with maximum limits set at 15 per cent of the current Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA).
You will not be able to obtain these nutrients in therapeutic doses anywhere in the world, even with a prescription.
Potentially permissible safe levels of nutrients under the Codex are not yet set in stone. Some probable examples based on the European Union (EU) system may include:
– Niacin: upper limit of 34 μg (micrograms) daily (effective daily doses range from 2,000 to 3,000 μg).
– Vitamin C: upper limits of 65 to 225 μg daily (effective daily doses range from 6,000 to 10,000 μg).
– Vitamin D: upper limit of 5 μg daily (effective daily doses range from 6,000 to 10,000 μg).
– Vitamin E: upper limit of 15 IU (international units) of alpha tocopherol per day, even though alpha tocopherol by itself has been implicated in cell damage and is toxic to the body (effective daily doses of mixed tocopherols range from 10,000 to 12,000 IU).
– Vitamin C: upper limits of 65 to 225 μg daily (effective daily doses range from 6,000 to 10,000 μg).
– Vitamin D: upper limit of 5 μg daily (effective daily doses range from 6,000 to 10,000 μg).
– Vitamin E: upper limit of 15 IU (international units) of alpha tocopherol per day, even though alpha tocopherol by itself has been implicated in cell damage and is toxic to the body (effective daily doses of mixed tocopherols range from 10,000 to 12,000 IU).
• It will most likely be illegal to give any advice on nutrition (including in written articles posted online and in journals as well as oral advice to a friend, a family member or anyone). This directive applies to any and all reports on vitamins and minerals and all nutritionists’ consultations. This type of information may be considered a hidden barrier to trade and may result in economic trade sanctions for the involved country.
• All dairy cows on the planet are to be treated with Monsanto’s genetically engineered recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH).
• All animals used for food are to be treated with potent antibiotics and exogenous growth hormones.
• Deadly and carcinogenic organic pesticides, including seven of the 12 worst (e.g., hexachlorobenzene, toxaphene and aldrin), which were banned by 176 countries (including the US) in 1991 at the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants,7 will be allowed back into food at elevated levels.
• The Codex will allow dangerous and toxic levels of aflatoxin (0.5 ppb) in milk. Aflatoxin, produced in animal feed that’s gone mouldy in storage, is the second-most- potent (non-radiation-related) carcinogenic compound known.
• Use of growth hormones and antibiotics will be mandatory on all livestock, birds and aquacultured species meant for human consumption.
• The worldwide introduction of unlabelled and deadly GMOs into crops, animals, fish and plants will be mandated.
• Elevated levels of residue from pesticides and insecticides that are toxic to humans and animals will be allowed.
The Population Control Agenda
In 1995, the FDA adopted an illegal policy which stated that international standards (i.e., Codex) would supersede US laws governing all food, even if these standards were incomplete.8 Furthermore, in 2004, the US passed the Central America Free Trade Agreement (illegal under US law, but legal under international law) that requires the US to conform to Codex.9 Once these standards are adopted, there is no way to return to the standards of old, but countries can adopt ones that are considered higher than those of Codex.
An example of this would be the European Supplements Directive. Once Codex compliance begins in any area, as long as any country remains a member of the WTO, it is totally irrevocable: the standards cannot be repealed, changed or altered in any way, shape or form.10, 11, 12 Population control for money is the easiest way to describe the new Codex Alimentarius, which in effect is being run by the US and primarily controlled by Big Pharma with the aim of reducing the world’s population from its current estimate of 6.692 billion to a sustainable 500 million—an approximate 93 per cent reduction. Interestingly enough, before the arrival of Europeans in America, the Native American population in the US was around 60 million;13 today it hovers around 500,000, or an approximate 92 per cent reduction as a result of government policies of genocide, starvation and poisoning.Codex is similar to other population control measures undertaken clandestinely by governments of the western world; for example, the introduction of DNA-damaging and latent immunosuppressive agents in vaccines (e.g., weaponised avian flu and AIDS), aspartame, chemtrails, chemotherapy for cancer treatment and RU486 (the abortion pill funded by the Rockefeller dynasty).
FAO and WHO have estimated that by the introduction of just the vitamin and mineral guideline alone, within 10 years a minimum three billion deaths will result.14 One billion of these deaths will be due to starvation, and two billion as a result of preventable and degenerative diseases of under-nutrition, e.g., cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
The foisting of degraded, demineralised, pesticide-filled and irradiated foods on consumers is the fastest and most efficient way to cause a profitable surge in malnutrition and preventable and degenerative diseases, for which the most appropriate course of action is toxic pharmaceutical treatment. Death for profit is the new name of the game.
Big Pharma has been waiting for Codex harmonization for years. An incognisant world population physically degenerating at an accelerated pace, providing a spike in revenue, is the ultimate goal for the furtive and egregious controllers of this corrupt trade organisation purportedly looking out for the health of consumers.
Fighting Back with Private Standards
Rima Laibow, MD, medical director for the Natural Solutions Foundation, has brought legal action against the US government and continues to attend every Codex meeting as a public observer while fighting for our health freedom. She has also been meeting with delegates from various countries to make them aware of Private Standards, which allow countries to draft food standards which are safer and higher than those mandated by Codex. Obviously, drafting safer standards is not a difficult task, and many countries can seemingly circumvent the flawed and irrevocable guidelines that Codex is attempting to implement.
Battle over GM Labelling
The latest Codex meeting in Geneva concluded with some interesting outcomes. Some long-simmering acrimony began to surface as the US continued to force forward the biased agendas of Big Pharma, Big Chema, Big Agribusiness and the like without considering the input of many other countries. Typically, if the US does not want a country’s input, the host country of the meeting simply denies visas to official delegates. Several countries object to this practice and stated that because of this and other reasons, decisions made by Codex in their absence do not have international legitimacy.
One major point of contention is the US and the Codex Alimentarius Commission’s staunch refusal to allow labelling of GMOs. Japan, Norway, Russia, Switzerland and virtually all the African countries and 26 European Union countries have fought the US for nearly 18 years to introduce mandatory labelling of GMOs. The US fallaciously considers GMOs to be equivalent to non- GMOs, based solely on a 1992 Executive Order from then- President George H. W. Bush. Consequently, no pre- market safety testing is conducted on any GMOs before they are released into the food chain in the US. The FDA refuses to review any safety data except to conduct a single preliminary review early in the organism’s development.
Opponents of the US policy prohibiting labelling of genetically modified food conclude that the US does not want GMOs labelled because of the potential legal ramifications for and liability of manufacturers and the US government if these foods can be traced. If millions of people are harmed or killed due to the instability of the inserted DNA promoter viruses and marker bacteria when interacting with the dynamic and fluid structure of the human body, then millions of lawsuits may result. But if these GMOs are totally untraceable, then corporate or government liability cannot be assessed and the health of the entire population suffers.
Some FDA scientists have repeatedly warned about releasing GMOs into the general food supply because of the dangers, but they have been ignored or routinely overruled. Prior to the Geneva meeting, the Codex Committee on Food Labelling met in Ottawa, Canada (28 April to 2 May 2008). The meeting concluded with several pro–mandatory GMO labelling nations angry that the committee had not objectively analysed the empirical research, prepared by the South Africa delegation, detailing the dangers of GMOs. This document delineated the need for mandatory labelling of GMOs, but was ignored and subsequently withdrawn due to US pressure.
As a result, several countries planned to scrap the requirements of Codex and adopt their own labelling system for GMOs in an effort to curtail the spread of “lethal” food. This became a real quandary for FAO and WHO.
According to Dr Laibow, at the recent Geneva meeting FAO and WHO finally stepped in and decided to undertake a program to identify low-level contamination of GMOs in food.
The definition of low-level contamination will still depend on each country’s standards. For example, the US currently allows for up to 10 per cent (the highest of any country under Codex) of GMO contamination of organic foods and, amazingly, still allows them to be labelled as “USDA Certified Organic”. Some governments, such as the European Union, allow only 0.9 per cent contamination, while others permit merely 0.1 per cent.
However, the FAO and WHO’s use of the term “contamination” simply does not describe the GMOs as being mixed in with normal food. This term is also very noteworthy, as most research on the dangers of GMOs can no longer be denied.

Although FAO and WHO have not gone so far as to require mandatory labelling of GMOs, their recognition that GMOs can contaminate food is a huge win for health freedom.
Expanding that requirement to mandatory labelling is the next logical step, but this is still a work in progress.

The only way to avoid the death-for- profit agenda is to fight back by disseminating knowledge to everyone you know.
It does not matter whether they are still asleep or hypnotised by the enslavement of daily life or too busy to pay attention: the time to wake up is now.

Rome - 4th of July 2007. Americans are celebrating this day as a special holiday signifying freedom and independence. But it is a work-day here in Rome at FAO, the Food and Agriculture Organization's headquarters, where the Codex Commission is having its week-long yearly general meeting. Freedom and independence are not really high on the agenda at Codex - rather the contrary, as more and more rules are passed that curb individual choice but allow corporations to do what they do best - dominate markets.
Codex Alimentarius, the food rule-making body of the United Nations has invited delegates from all countries to the thirtieth session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. The Roman headquarters of FAO is within a stone's throw of the Baths of Caracalla on one side and the oval arena of the Circus Maximus on the other, just down the road from the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum , the old cultural and administrative center of the city in its heyday of empire two millennia ago. What better place than this to forge the laws for a coming corporate empire...
The 30th Codex Alimentarius Commission meeting
The week-long meeting in Rome started Monday 2 July and is scheduled to end Friday or Saturday, leaving time for sight-seeing, but temperatures have already risen into the forbidding range beyond the 30 degree C mark - 86 degrees + in Fahrenheit, spoiling much of the fun of daytime excursions. But then - most of the action is in the evenings - in air conditioned hotels, good restaurants and favorite night spots.
The meeting's atmosphere is business-like, as you would expect from a world legislative body engaged in making the food laws for future humanity. And laws they are, even though the official word is that regulations and guidelines passed by Codex are 'voluntary' for the member nations. It is the World Trade Organization that provides the enforcement arm for those Codex rules, using them as the standard by which to adjudicate trade disputes. In consequence, no country can afford to contravene these rules, if it does not wish to risk heavy sanctions imposed as a penalty after a trade dispute.
Following this thought back to its logical conclusion, we arrive at a huge question, but one that is normally never asked:Who gave national ministry of health officials the authorization to commit their country to international lawsthat in time will bind their country without having been examined, much less approved, by national legislative assemblies?

Industry influence on Codex
For all intents and purposes, Codex Alimentarius unites over 150 accredited industry and other interest groups with an even larger number of national health authorities to make the rules for a globalized society where corporations have free reign and what they like to call a "level playing field". But the playing field they construct is so restricted by red tape and the level parts are so completely occupied by corporate interedsts that anything smaller than a multinational falls off the edges into commercial insignificance.
While at the Commission meeting, the presence of industry is somewhat muted, most of what is approved in the yearly plenary session has been discussed and elaborated in committee meetings during the last twelve months. It is there - at the level of individual committees and in the national Codex 'delegations' to those committees that industry has inordinate influence. No wonder that regulations that get approved set allowed levels of contamination, rather than eliminating the use of harmful substances in agriculture and food preparation. Actual examples from this year's crop of proposals, all of them passed without much discussion, are:

Somatotropin of course is growth hormone, including Monsanto's infamous rBGH, the synthetic "recombinant bovine growth hormone" that has farmers in the US scrambling to label their milk as "hormone free" because consumers do not want to drink the milk flowing from the often inflamed udders of cows treated with the hormone. Monsanto can be content - in the future it will be sufficient to stay within the limits of 'allowed' contamination and no country will be able to refuse the milk from growth hormone treated cows without risking trade sanctions.
Another facet of this game of "stealth legislation" are genetically modified foods. They are made legally acceptable and countries are actually forced to allow them for cultivation and in foods, after the international body - Codex Alimentarius - has made regulations defining the circumstances and criteria for their evaluation. Practically, the concept of 'substantial equivalence' of genetically modified varieties with those we have grown for millennia, dumps the burden of proof that GM varieties are a danger to our health on the consuming public and a handful of honest but underfunded scientists. Jeffrey Smith, the author of the book Seeds of Deception explains in this article why GM crops should never have been approved and how the scam of 'substantial equivalence' works to level the playing field for the corporations.
Codex targets food supplements
This year's plenary session of the Codex Commission does not deal with supplements. The regulations for those nutrient-containing products were adopted two years ago, on 4 July 2005. Nevertheless, Scott Tips of the National Health Federation is keeping a watchful eye on the meeting to make sure nothing sneaks by unrecorded.
Food supplements have been a target for Codex since 1994, when the Germans, who have traditionally hosted the Codex Nutrition Committee's meetings, made a proposal to regulate food supplements in a way that would protect the interests of pharmaceutical companies. The pharmaceutical producers of course are intent on selling more and more of their drugs. Concentrated nutrients that keep people healthy are a definite threat to the expansion of that particular drug market. Needless to say that my challenge to the German proposal , written in 1996, was not taken into consideration when, during these intervening years, the Germans and the European Commission played tag team to get the Codex food supplement regulations passed despite all opposition.
Those Codex supplement rules , in their substance if not in wording, are eerily similar to the European food supplements directive , or should we say that the European food supplements directive turned out very similar to the original German proposal to control supplements aired first in that Codex Nutrition Committee meeting in 1994. At the time, that Codex proposal was almost considered a joke: "what do those people know about supplements?" was the question often asked in industry circles. Not much, we can say now, but enough to know that nutrients constitute a dire threat to a pharmaceutical business model that depends on illness, not on health, for its humongous profits.
A reaction to this corporate push to eliminate natural health care options in favor of pharmaceutical medicine, is a recently published book titled Codex Alimentarius - Global Food Imperialism. The book collects and summarizes a decade of Codex meetings and deliberations that touch on issues of freedom of choice and the availability of information about health and nutrition. What emerges is an ugly picture of an international policy setting body that has been set up and is being largely controlled by food, agriculture and pharmaceutical multinationals doing everything possible to suppress free choice in matters of nutrition.
Pressure inevitably creates counter-pressure, and so a natural health resistance movement is forming against the Codex agenda of controlled healthcare, where nutrition and other natural health options are conspicuously absent. The serious nature of the threat to human health of Codex Alimentarius and the corporate agenda hiding behind it only becomes apparent when examining the international connections that form a tightly knit web of corporate interests and official health policy making.
After a transatlantic summit that brought agreements for EU/US economic cooperation, the FDA and the European Food Safety Agency have announced that they will initiate closer co-operation on food safety issues. In the US, the FDA has announced its final rule on "Current Good Manufacturing Practice" for food supplements, openly acknowledging that some manufacturers of supplements will find the compliance costs too high and will have to close shop. Canada has tightened its regulations for natural health products and the Kiwis are resisting the extension of Australian medicines regulations to New Zealand by way of the creation of a Trans-Tasman health products agency, while Europe has re-vamped its laws onvitamins, herbs, and medicines, always leading to tighter control of the natural health options that could be of competition to pharma's drugs. South Africa's pharma-inspired law proposal was however nixed by health minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang. Those legislative moves in major countries and regions and the contemporaneous efforts of Codex Alimentarius are no mere coincidence. Someone has to be pushing very hard to limit competition to pharmaceutical drugs. Only the makers of those drugs have the motive, the financial resources and the international clout to do so.
Codex timeline
To point the researchers among you in the right direction, I have compiled a time line of articles that document and comment on the discussions in Codex Alimentarius about food supplements. These nutrient-dense foods have healthy properties and therefore preventive and even curative effects. Although those health effects are widely recognized, corporate and regulatory collusion has made it practically impossible to inform people, without risking the removal of the 'offending' product from the market as an 'unauthorized medicine'. And in the future we see possible restrictions on dosage - all for the safety of the consumer of course.

Naturally incomplete as it must be, this is my timeline of Codex events up to this present meeting of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. It is not easy to get into this somewhat dry and legalistic stuff of international legislation, but there it is - a window on the ongoing battle for preserving our health options. Granted, the odds seem overwhelming, the juggernaut targeting health and nutrition, of which Codex is only a part, is thundering ahead. But the force is with those who are pure at heart and there is always hope. So let's end this article on a positive note.

Perhaps, little by little, the idea is making headway that individual initiative and real food are important ingredients in providing economic and food security. I was happy to see this apparent turn from the "green revolution" of chemical-intensive agriculture into something that - at least at the surface - resembles permaculture andorganic farming more than the corporate controlled industrial variety, which is heavy in synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and genetically modified varieties of mostly "cash crops".
If the Food and Agricultural Organization can come around to promoting distributed farming for real foods that protects the soil and the environment, perhaps Codex Alimentarius can come around to a view of nutrition that recognizes the health effects of nutrients and allows their distribution and commerce - rather than restricting it for the benefit of Big Pharma.
There may be hope after all!
